Aftab Siddiqui, Seifur Rahman Khan, Atta Allah Khan, Faheem Khan, Aftab Jahangir and other petitioners in the petition filed in the Sindh High Court said that after the decision of the Lahore High Court, the March 16 by-election is no longer valid.

The petitioners said that the Lahore High Court has decided to stop the by-elections. According to the decision, the resigned members have been restored to their seats.
