The International Monetary Fund (IMF) proposed to impose new taxes up to 500 billion instead of 200 billion in the negotiations. Additional taxes will be imposed due to the slowdown in the privatization program, circular debt. The IMF says that additional taxes If not invested, the expenses will not be met.
The IMF has also asked to meet the target by increasing the levy on diesel immediately, the final decision on the sales tax on petroleum products will be in the policy level negotiations, the officials of the Ministry of Finance will put the demands of the IMF before the Prime Minister.
