BP's Chief Executive on the company's 'exceptional' quarter

Bernard Looney, Chief Executive of BP, speaks to Ian King about the company's 'exceptional' performance in the first quarter of the year with net earnings of $2.63 billion.

The news comes despite the past year being one of the darkest in the history of the oil industry.

At one point, prices fell so low that the oil was worth less than the barrel it was stored in.
