A new health report by a Bosnian university has made a direct link between a coal-fired power plant and a high level of cancer.
Residents in the northern town of Bukinje say their town has emptied in the past decade.
They are now concerned about plans going ahead to expand the plant in a Chinese-backed deal, despite China’s pledge not to build new coal-fired plants abroad.
Al Jazeera’s @Laura Burdon-Manley reports.
