An award winning Black bank manager who was wrongly accused of a string of serious crimes says promises by the Metropolitan Police Commissioner to end discrimination in the force, are meaningless. Dale Semper complained to the Met almost immediately, after he was first arrested in August 2017. The Met have only now responded to the complaint five and a half years later - rejecting his claim that he would never have been arrested were it not for the colour of his skin.
