Days after mistakenly seeking votes in the Madhya Pradesh bypolls in the name of Congress, now BJP leader Jyotiraditya Scindia said assimilating the party's ideology of development was a breeze because of its dedication to "public service". He compared his months in the run up to his exit from Congress with his time with the BJP, saying the overwhelming bypoll verdict in his stronghold of the Gwalior-Chambal belt was a result of the ruling party's dedication to "working tirelessly at the state and constituency level". The BJP has swept majority of the 28 seats that were left vacant after Congress leaders exited the 15-month-old Kamal Nath government necessitating by-elections.
