Cyclonic storm Biparjoy rising from the Arabian Sea is moving towards the west coast of India. By Thursday i.e. June 15, it is estimated to step on the coast of Gujarat. High waves are rising in the sea from Mumbai to Kutch on the west coast and stormy winds are blowing in the coastal areas. The Indian Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert regarding the storm in Gujarat. Along with Gujarat and Maharashtra, it has been estimated to have an impact on 9 states. The storm is expected to pass through Saurashtra and Kutch in Gujarat by the evening of June 15. Kutch, Dwarka, Porbandar, Jamnagar, Rajkot, Junagadh and Morbi are expected to be most affected by the cyclone. It has started raining in Mumbai city due to cyclonic storm Biparjoy. Due to the effect of 'Biparjoy', there has been heavy rain in many parts of Aravalli district of Gujarat. The Meteorological Department has predicted winds at a speed of 125-135 kmph, which can go up to 150 kmph. So far, the work of evacuating more than 30,000 people to safer places has been done. At the same time, 17 teams of NDRF and 12 teams of SDRF have been deployed in the districts affected by Cyclone Cyclone. The central government is constantly monitoring the storm. On June 13, Union Home Minister Amit Shah held a review meeting of preparations for the cyclonic storm. He assured that the government is fully prepared for this. Said that "our aim is to ensure 'zero casualty' and minimize the possible damage caused by cyclonic storm 'Biparjoy'."
अरब सागर से उठा चक्रवाती तूफान बिपरजॉय भारत के पश्चिमी तट की ओर बढ़ रहा है. गुरुवार यानी 15 जून तक इसके गुजरात के तट पर कदम रखने का अनुमान लगाया है. पश्चिमी तट पर मुंबई से लेकर कच्छ तक समुद्र में ऊंची-ऊंची लहरें उठ रही हैं और तटीय इलाकों में तूफानी हवाएं चल रही हैं गुजरात में तूफान को लेकर भारतीय मौसम विज्ञान विभाग ने ऑरेंज अलर्ट जारी किया है. गुजरात और महाराष्ट्र के साथ ही 9 राज्यों पर इसका असर होने का अनुमान लगाया गया है. तूफान के 15 जून की शाम तक गुजरात के सौराष्ट्र और कच्छ से गुजरने का अनुमान है. कच्छ, द्वारका, पोरबंदर, जामनगर, राजकोट, जूनागढ़ और मोरबी के चक्रवात से सबसे ज्यादा प्रभावित होने की आशंका है.मुंबई शहर में चक्रवाती तूफान बिपरजॉय के कारण बारिश होना शुरू हो गई है. 'बिपरजॉय' के प्रभाव से गुजरात के अरावली जिले के कई हिस्सों में भी भारी बारिश हुई है. मौसम विज्ञान विभाग ने 125-135 किलोमीटर प्रतिघंटे की रफ्तार से हवाएं चलने की आशंका जताई है, जो 150 किमी प्रति घंटे तक जा सकती है. अब तक 30,000 से ज्यादा लोगों को सुरक्षित स्थानों पर पहुंचाने का काम किया गया है. वहीं, चक्रवर्ती तूफान से प्रभावित जिलों में एनडीआरएफ की 17 और एसडीआरएफ की 12 टीमें तैनात की गई हैं. तूफान को लेकर केंद्र सरकार लगातार नजर बनाए हुए है. 13 जून को केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने चक्रवाती तूफान को लेकर तैयारियों की समीक्षा बैठक की. उन्होंने भरोसा दिलाया कि सरकार इसके लिए पूरी तरह से तैयार है. कहा कि "हमारा उद्देश्य 'जीरो कैजुअल्टी' सुनिश्चित करना और चक्रवाती तूफान 'बिपरजॉय' से होने वाले संभावित नुकसान को कम से कम करना है."
