Two of the world's richest men, Virgin Galactic's Richard Branson and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, have announced plans to travel to space this month.

Branson said last week that he would ride his Virgin Galactic spacecraft to the edge of space on July 11.

That’s nine days ahead of Bezos' planned trip, which he’s invited his brother to join him on. Mike Drolet looks at the ego fuelling this billionaire space race.
