पंजाब पुलिस भगोड़े अमृतपाल की तलाश में जुटी है. इसी बीच उसके ड्राइवर और चाचा ने जालंधर पुलिस के सामने सरेंडर कर दिया. पंजाब पुलिस ने अब तक अमृतपाल सिंह के कुल 112 करीबियों को गिरफ्तार किया है. इतना ही नहीं पुलिस ने उस गाड़ी को भी बरामद कर लिया है, जिससे अमृतपाल फरार हुआ था.पंजाब में सुरक्षा व्यवस्था को बनाए रखने के लिए चप्पे चप्पे पर सुरक्षाबलों की तैनाती की गई है. हर जिले में पुलिस और पैरामिलिट्री फोर्स के जवान फ्लैग मार्च निकाल रहे हैं. माना जा रहा है कि सुरक्षा व्यवस्था को देखते हुए पंजाब सरकार केंद्र से और पैरामिलिट्री फोर्स की मांग कर सकती है.
