US President Joe Biden has told fellow Democrats he is 'firmly committed' to his re-election campaign.
In a letter, Biden promised politicians he would stay in the Presidential race, to beat Republican challenger Donald Trump.
Biden is under mounting pressure from Democrats, worried that he may not be fit for office.

Al Jazeera’s Kimberly Halkett reports from the White House.

More questions are being raised about President Biden's health. That's after US media reports that a Parkinson's disease specialist visited the White House eight times, over the past year.
That's prompted Biden's doctor to release a statement, saying the President only saw a neurologist, as part of a regular annual physical exam.

Al Jazeera’s Heidi Zhou-Castro has more from Washington, DC.
