Biden urges Democrats to unite around his candidacy in letter

In a letter to congressional Democrats, Joe Biden called for an 'end' to the drama that has gripped his party after his dismal debate performance. But Aaron Regunberg, a progressive Democrat and a former Democratic state representative in Rhode Island, said there were ‘breathtakingly dishonest and cynical lines’ in Biden’s letter, and his persistence is ‘disappointing’ for anyone who wants Donald Trump to be beaten in this fall’s election.
