Biden slams “Trump and his MAGA friends” for bipartisan immigration bill stall

On Tuesday, President Joe Biden stated that the bipartisan immigration bill is failing due to “A simple reason: Donald Trump.” He urged lawmakers to have a "spine" and pass the much-needed measure.

Biden said that Trump is against the bill because he believes it will negatively impact him politically saying that “He'd rather weaponize this issue than actually solve it.”

Biden emphasized that the bipartisan bill is crucial as it proposes important solutions to fix America's broken immigration system. It is also the toughest and fairest law ever proposed concerning the border.

President Biden called on Congress to pass a bill and get it to his desk immediately and stated that every day until November, the American people will be aware that “the only reason the border is not secure is because of Donald Trump and his MAGA Republican friends.”
