U.S. President Joe Biden hosted the 2021 World Series champion Atlanta Braves on Monday at the White House.
The president called their run "improbable" and said that the Braves were given only a "0.04 per cent chance to win – on CNN – no, I'm only joking," he said receiving a huge laugh from the audience.
Biden also paid tribute to baseball and Atlanta Braves legend Hank Aaron during his speech. The Hall of Fame slugger died Jan. 22 at 86, still rooting for his old team, and his legacy was stamped all over the Series.
