President-elect Joe Biden has spoken strongly in support of the Affordable Care Act ahead of a challenge to the healthcare act providing coverage at least 20m Americans.

He said he was concered that the coronavirus pandemic could cause a slew of 'pre-existing conditions' complaints that would not be protected were the act to be scrapped.
