U.S. President Joe Biden on Friday described COVID-19 in the U.S. as a “pandemic of unvaccinated” and added that “virtually no one’s died because of [getting] vaccinations.” The president stated that roughly 193 million Americans have had at least one shot while 165 million are fully vaccinated.

Biden also lauded the next step towards the passing of a bi-partisan infrastructure bill on Thursday saying it will allow America to “build back better than before the pandemic hit.”

The president also commented of a jobs report released on Friday that show 943,000 new jobs were created in July. “Unemployment is at the lowest level since the pandemic hit,” Biden said.
