Dame Kate Bingham was chair of the UK Vaccine Taskforce during the coronavirus pandemic and was in charge of procuring vaccines and deploying them in the early days of the spread of the virus.

But despite her achievement and the success of the vaccine, she says the pandemic is far from over.

She discusses how she was recruited to the role and the criticisms of cronyism she faced with Sky News' Beth Rigby.
