The Mayor of Kyiv Vitali Klitschko tells Sky News' Beth Rigby that it's "painful" to see pictures of his devastated country - and to see the streets of the capital empty of women and children.

In a wide ranging interview, the former heavyweight boxing champion said he had sent his family out of Ukraine because of the dangers they faced - but was fortunate to be accompanied by his brother Wladimir.

Asked if he had experienced an attempt on his life by Russian forces, said "everyone in Ukraine is in danger". He said "Ukraine is a peaceful country, but this is about the future of our children."
