This is the IT corridor in Bengaluru, better known as the Silicon Valley of India. Perfectly tarred roads have now turned into rivers. Bikes, four-wheelers and, ambulances struggle to pass through this 100-metre stretch that connects the IT corridor and Bengaluru city. Several parts of Bengaluru have been flooded since Monday night's heavy rain. Bengaluru received a record 162.1mm rainfall which is the single day highest since August 1890 the weather office says a yellow alert has been issued till September 1.
