It's amazing what you can dig up in the archives. You're about to see a shy, very serious young man with a violin. And I'll bet you don't recognise him. It's actually Ben Stiller without even a hint of the hilarious Gaylord Focker or any of his manic, neurotic movie characters. But a little of what you see in the kid is what you get when you meet the man. He's quiet, thoughtful, a bit embarrassed by all the fuss. But Ben's no wowser. Remember that notorious hair gel scene in There's Something About Mary? Though these days on screen at least most of his jokes are G-rated.
