Canada took home another bronze medal on day 10 of the Beijing Winter Olympics, this time in the inaugural women's monobob bobsleigh race, with Alberta's Christine de Bruin taking home the win in the event's first time at the Olympics.

The Canadian women's hockey team is also headed to the gold-medal game again after a resounding 10-3 defeat against Switzerland. They will face off in a rematch with the U.S. after losing to the Americans in the 2018 games.

Russian skater Kamila Valieva who had tested positive for a banned heart drug has also been cleared to compete in the women's singles event on Tuesday, with the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) citing issues of fairness and the potential for irreparable harm to the 15-year-old due to the timing of the release of the positive result. Mike Arsenault has all the latest developments in the Beijing Olympics.
