A huge fire tore through hundreds of shops at a market in Bangladesh’s capital, Dhaka.
There were no casualties as the blaze swept through the area in the early hours of Thursday, before stores opened.
The military and firefighters battled to contain the blaze well into the afternoon.
The fire had spread quickly in the Mohammadpur market due to a large amount of flammable items such as cooking oil and plastics that had been stored there, officials said.
A fire service official said the fire was likely caused by an electric short circuit.
