Bangladesh is seeing a rise in COVID test positivity rates and experts are especially worried about a surge in districts along the border with India.
The country has faced difficulties with its mass inoculation programme because of a shortage of vaccines, little more than 9 million jabs administered so far to a population of 165 million.
