हल्द्वानी में अवैध मदरसा ढहाने के दौरान पुलिस और प्रशासन की टीम पर उपद्रवियों की भीड़ ने जानलेवा हमला किया। सैकड़ों गाड़ियों को आग के हवाले कर दिया। पुलिस थाने को फूंक दिया। इस हिंसा में घायल हुए पुलिस और नगर निगम के कर्मचारियों ने जो आपबीती बताई, वो हैरान करने वाली है। घायलों का आरोप है कि उपद्रवियों ने पूरी तैयारी कर रखी थी और मकानों की छतों पर पत्थर जमा कर रखे थे। पीड़ितों का आरोप है कि दंगाइयों ने धारदार हथियार और पेट्रोल बम का भी इस्तेमाल किया।
