चीन के मुद्दे पर विदेश मंत्री एस जयशंकर ने कांग्रेस के पूर्व अध्यक्ष राहुल गांधी की जमकर खिंचाई की। उन्होंने विदेश नीति पर सवाल उठाने को लेकर राहुल गांधी को नसीहत भी दी। कर्नाटक में एक कार्यक्रम के दौरान जयशंकर से पूछा गया कि राहुल गांधी कहते हैं कि आप चीन से खतरे को नहीं समझते, इस पर आप क्या कहेंगे। जिसपर उन्होंने राहुल गांधी पर तंज़ कसते हुए कहा कि वो चीन पर उनसे क्लास लेना चाहते थे। लेकिन बाद में मुझे पता चला कि वो खुद चीनी राजदूत से चीन पर क्लास ले रहे थे। जयशंकर ने इशारों-इशारों में कांग्रेस नेता राहुल गांधी को झूठा करार दिया और कहा कि भारतीय ज़मीन पर चीनी कब्ज़े की बात सफेद झूठ है।
