Avian flu: US sees sales of raw milk jump amid outbreak, but what are the risks?

Amid an ongoing outbreak of avian flu among U.S. dairy cattle, recent data shows there has been an increase in the sales of raw milk.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says, at this time, there has been no confirmation whether drinking raw milk can lead to infection of avian flu, however, experts are still cautioning against the consumption of such beverages and stressing the safety of pasteurized milk.

Global’s Sean Previl explains why raw or unpasteurized milk is still a risky product to consume and why it's not just avian flu that poses a problem.
