An Australian man has been charged with more than 1,600 offences of child sex abuse.
The 45-year-old is accused of committing the crimes when he worked in childcare centres.
Interpol says police forces globally are making some progress in combatting the exploitation of children.
But social media platforms, encryption and artificial intelligence are creating more opportunities to commit offences.
