Gangster-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf were shot by unidentified assailants in UP's Prayagraj. The murder of the dreaded gangster comes just days after his son was killed in an encounter with UP Police in Jhansi.

उमेश पाल मर्डर केस (Umesh Pal Murder Case) के आरोपी अतीक अहमद (Atique Ahmed) और उसके भाई अशरफ (Ashraf) की हत्या बीती रात प्रयागराज (Prayagraj) में कर दी गई. तीन हमलावरों ने पुलिस के सामने ही अतीक और अशरफ पर ताबड़तोड़ गोलियां बरसाईं. इतना ही नहीं तीनों हमलावरों ने हत्या के तुरंत बाद घटनास्थल पर ही सरेंडर भी कर दिया.
