Guyana's police chief says initial investigations show a fire at a secondary school dormitory that killed at least 19 people was "maliciously set".
Most of those killed in the town of Mahdia were Indigenous students.
President Irfaan Ali called the tragedy in the gold-mining town “horrible” and “painful”.
