Lok Sabha Polls 224 Latest News: Three events though disconnected have made the opposition say there is no level playing field in the Lok Sabha polls. Delhi Chief Minister and AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in his alleged role in the Delhi Liquor Policy case. The arrest came on the day of the Congress brass saying that systematic effort to cripple the party financially is being made. All these developments came at a time when the opposition welcomed the Supreme Court's February 15 judgement declaring the electoral bond scheme unconstitutional. Over the last few weeks, the State Bank of India has submitted details to the Election Commission. The larger sense is that this move will ensure transparency and a level playing field in political donations. The details show that the BJP benefitted the most from these bonds. So, with weeks to go for the polls, is the opposition justified in saying the BJP has an unfair advantage in these polls? Can the Election Commission ensure a level playing field?
