Armenia's top army general is at odds with the government.
The president is refusing to fire him, even though the prime minister has publically called for his dismissal, accusing the military of an attempted coup.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has faced growing calls to step-down since November.
That was when protesters say he betrayed the country by ceding land to end a six-week war with Azerbaijan over Nagorno-Karabakh.

Al Jazeera’s Robin Forestier-Walker reports from the Armenian capital, Yerevan.
