Are we already in the midst of a regional war in the Middle East?

The US on Wednesday launched a new wave of missile strikes on Houthi-controlled sites in Yemen. The Houthi-controlled Saba news agency said on Thursday that US and British aircraft had targeted a number of areas in Yemen. The governorates that were targeted were Hodeidah, Taiz, Dhamar, al Bayda and Saada, the agency reported.
With allies of both Israel and Islamist militants Hamas, designated a terrorist organization by the EU, Germany and others, increasingly active in the Middle East, concerns are growing that the bloodshed in Gaza could ignite a wider regional war.
