Anti-stress Cat Watches Over Russian Firefighters

Semyon the cat keeps stress levels low at a fire station in Russia.

It also provides firefighters with forecasts for the future. Unit employees can predict on its behavior how the shift will go.

For example, if Semyon sleeps peacefully on the windowsill in the control room, then the day will pass quietly, and if it restlessly runs, then something is about to happen.

The team of the 135 Fire and Rescue Unit considers Semyon an integral member of the fire fraternity because the tailed employee attends all morning formations and escorts guards to alarm trips and joyfully greets comrades upon returning to the unit.
