After expelled AIADMK leader O Panneerselvam withdrew his candidate in favour of the official AIADMK candidate, AMMK led by TTV Dhinakaran, another leader ousted from the party, has decided not to contest the Erode East bypoll. While the Tamil Nadu BJP wanted the AIADMK to put up a united fight against the ruling DMK, Mr Dhinakaran denied he's toeing the BJP line.
