American statesman George Shultz dead at 100

George P. Shultz, former Secretary of State, economist, and an influential figure in American politics and diplomacy, has passed away at the age of 100. Shultz served under three different Republican presidents, and was one of only two people to have held four different Cabinet-level posts.
