Alzheimer's patient shares her cautious optimism for a new drug being trialled in the US

Silvia Speight was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease four years ago, and spoke to Sky News her hope for the newest Alzheimer's trial drug, with her daughter Tanya Ord.

Aducanumab targets amyloid - plaque that builds up in the brains of people with Alzheimer's - helping to slow the onset of the condition.

It is the first treatment to target the cause of the disease, as existing ones only help to ease symptoms.
