Amid the continued surge in Covid-19 cases in the national capital, the Delhi government has ordered the closure of all government and private schools in the city. The announcement in this regard was made by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday.

"Due to increasing cases of Covid, all schools (including government, private) in Delhi are being closed for all classes till further orders," the Chief Minister said on Twitter.


The national capital has been reporting a steep spike in new Covid-19 cases for the last few weeks.
