The mother of a young transgender woman who took her own life has paid tribute at the inquest into her daughter's death - describing her as "full of beauty and grace".

Alice Litman died in May last year - she had spent almost three years on an NHS waiting list for gender affirming health care.

The inquest is expected to look into those delays - and why she was discharged from treatment for anxiety and depression when she turned 18.
