Heavy rainfall in Alberta has extinguished wildfire activity enough for people in several communities to return to their homes, including O’Chiese First Nation, Yellowhead County and Swan Hills.
Fox Creek’s evacuation order has also been lifted, bringing residents a sense of relief and gratitude despite the lingering risk of a flare-up.
