Labour's Emily Thornberry slams airlines for failing to forward plan, saying it was "not acceptable" to cancel flights at the last minute.

The Shadow Attorney General said it seems the airlines have "shed people" and are now having problems getting them back.

Along with the forthcoming Tube strikes, Ms Thornberry said the government needed to ensure there is a "transport industry that works properly" and should have taken a "strategic" approach.
