There have been massive protests over the Agnipath recruitment scheme. Dozens of trains, BJP offices, MLAs' homes have been attacked. It appears that what began as a recruitment program in the armed forces, has now turned out into massive law and order concern. Government introduced some changes last night; the one-time upper age relaxation from 21 to 23 years. The government says that this scheme is beneficial for agniveers.
