Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan spoke to Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Saturday evening, and assured him the state would get an adequate and uninterrupted supply of medical oxygen" for critically ill coronavirus patients. Dr Vardhan said the two leaders had discussed the oxygen situation in Maharashtra, and that the centre would rush over 1,100 ventilators to the state to combat the surge in Covid cases.
