Afghanistan Crisis: A special repatriation flight by the Indian Air Force, carrying 168 passengers, including 107 Indians, is on its way to Delhi from Kabul. Also, an Air India and IndiGo flights carrying Indians evacuated from Kabul landed in Delhi from Tajikistan's capital Dushanbe and Qatar's Doha this morning. Two Afghan senators were among the 24 Sikhs who landed in India this morning, looking to escape the Taliban, which now controls the war-torn nation. One of them, Senator Narender Singh Khalsa, was in tears. Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Lucknow this morning to pay his last respects to former UP Chief Minister Kalyan Singh. Kalyan Singh died on Saturday in the Uttar Pradesh capital due to sepsis and multi-organ failure. He was 89.
