The Taliban says it is releasing two foreign journalists it's been holding since Monday.

Former BBC reporter Andrew North, along with a photographer and a number of Afghan colleagues were on assignment for the United Nations refugee agency when they were detained.

However, other foreigners remain in Taliban custody.
