With foreign troops now out of Afghanistan, the Taliban is busy securing the international airport in Kabul.
The group is talking to Qatar and Turkey about helping to oversee the facility.
But the Taliban says it is dismayed that US troops disabled the planes and helicopters they left behind.
It says it wants to start a new chapter of better ties with the US and the international community.
