Afghan girls wait to find out if they'll be allowed back to school

Girls aged 12 and older in Afghanistan are still waiting to find out if they will be permitted to return to school.

The Taliban had been expected to say whether they would allow secondary education for females.

The group banned teenage girls going to school when they came to power in August last year.
