मुहर्रम के जुलूस के दौरान दिल्ली से लेकर यूपी और बिहार समेत कई राज्यों में उपद्रव देखने को मिली. जहां दिल्ली के नांगलोई में 29 जुलाई को मुहर्रम के जुलूस में झड़प हो गई. इसमें कई लोग घायल भी हुए हैं. तो वीं वाराणसी में भारी सतर्कता और सुरक्षा की घेरेबंदी के बाद भी जैतपुरा इलाके के दोषीपुरा में मुहर्रम के जुलूस के दौरान बवाल हो गया। शनिवार शाम ताजिया जुलूस के दौरान शिया और सुन्नी भिड़ गए। कहासुनी के बाद दोनों पक्षों के बीच जमकर पथराव हुआ और तोड़फोड़ की गई।
