Durante mucho tiempo, a Fernando le costó aceptar lo que veía frente al espejo. En el colegio, cuando solo tenía 14 años, un cura ya fallecido, llamado José María Pita da Veiga, mutiló su inocencia. Además, como asegura la víctima, "el buitre consiguió que el que ratoncillo se sintiera culpable".
