99 Durga Puja Idols Part Of Massive Kolkata Carnival

The West Bengal government has arranged a massive Durga Puja carnival this evening on an even larger scale this year to celebrate the inclusion of the annual festival in the UNESCO's List of Intangible Cultural Heritage. At least 99 of the best Durga Puja idols will be taken on a parade as part of the carnival on Kolkata's iconic Red Road.
