6-year-old Sexually Abused, Brutally Injured In Madhya Pradesh

The COVID-19 pandemic has put children at risk of abuse and exploitation. In yet another horrific case of child sexual abuse, this time from Damoh district in Madhya Pradesh, a six-year-old girl went missing and was found unconscious the next morning, lying naked in a field outside the village with both her hands tied on her back. Family members of the minor told the police that she had stepped out of the house to buy something from the neighborhood shop and that was the last they saw her before the incident.
