4,000-Long Wait List Of Organ Transplant In Mumbai, Acute Shortage Of Donors

Due to an acute shortage of organ donors, the number of patients on the waiting list for organ transplant is running into thousands. In Maharashtra, 5,832 patients are waiting for kidneys while 4,046 patients are waiting for an organ donation in Mumbai.
